Fetal ovarian cyst: A case report and review the literature
Abstract: Ultrasonografinin antenatal takiplerde rutin kullanımı ile prenatal tanı konulan fetal kistlerde önemli bir artışa yol açmıştır. Fetal ovarian kistler, genellikle tek taraflı, geç ikinci trimester veya üçüncü trimesterde tanı konulan fonksiyonel, benign, basit over kistleridirler. Büyüklükleri 2-8 cm arasında değişmektedir. Tedavileri büyüklük ve kiniklere göre bekleme tedavisi, prenatal veya postnatal ponksiyon veya açık cerrahi şeklinde olabilir. Makalemizde bir fetal ovarian kist olgusu sunulmakta ve literatür gözden geçirilmektedir.

Abstract: Routine prenatal ultrasound has led to a considerable Increase in the diagnosis of fetal ovarian unilateral, and diagnosed in late second or in the third trimester. Their size varies between 2-8 cm. Fetal ovarian cysts can be managed in different ways, depending upon their size and clinical course: Conservatively or by prenatal or postnatal transabdominal puncture or by open surger. The most common complication of an pvarian cyst is tortion. We present here a case of large fetal ovarian cyst and review the literature.
