AB  - Let A1 and A2 be an {α1, β1, γ1} -cubic matrix and an {α2, β2} -quadratic matrix, respectively, with $α1 ̸ = β1 , β1 ̸ = $gamma1$, α1 ̸ = $gamma1$ and α2 ̸ = β2$ . In this work, we characterize all situations in which the linear combination A3 = a1A1 + a2A2 with the assumption A1A2 = A2A1 is an {α3, β3} -quadratic matrix, where a1 and a2 are unknown nonzero complex numbers.
