Contribution of stari most to Turkey’s reputation in terms of culture and heritage tourism

Öz:
Enformasyon ihtiyacının ve akışının her geçen gün artığı küresel dünyamızda bireyler ve kurumlar gibi ülkelerde farklılaşma adına alternatif alanlara yönelmektedirler. Her dönemde olduğu gibi günümüzde de çok kıymetli olduğu bilinen kültür ve miras eserleri de bu noktada ülkelerin tanıtım olgusu adına farklılaşma sağlayacağı alternatif ve hatırı sayılır nitelikteki kıymetli oluşumlardandır. Bu çalışma yurtdışında yer alan birçok Türk eseri içinde bulunan, yeniden inşasında Türkiye’nin de katkıları olduğu ve 2005 yılında Dünya Kültür Miras Listesi’ne alınan Mostar Köprüsü’nün (Stari Most) Türkiye’nin tanıtımına sağlayabileceği olumlu etkinin vurgulanması amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.Mostar Köprüsü çevresinde tesadüfi örneklem yoluyla seçilen turistler üzerinde uygulanan anket sonucunda, yurtdışındaki Türk eserlerinin Türkiye’nin tanıtımına ve sonraki ziyaretlerde tercih edilebilirliğine katkı sağladı saptanmıştır.

Kültür ve miras turizmi bağlamında Mostar Köprüsü’nün Türkiye’nin tanıtımına Katkısı

Öz:
In our global world in which information necessity and flow are increased every single day, countries as individuals and institutions directs towards alternative fields in terms of differentiation. Cultural and heritage pieces known to be very valuable in each terms and also today are one of the most precious formations which are alternative and significant in terms of differentiation of the country’s advertisement at this point. This study has been developed in order to emphasize the possible contribution of Stari Most to Turkey’s promotion which is included in many Turkish pieces abroad and listed under World Cultural Heritage List on 2005 and for which reconstruction Turkey’s efforts are also utilized. As a result of the survey which is conducted with tourists chosen as random samples around Stari Most, it has been determined that Turkish art works situated in foreign countries contribute to Turkey’s promotion and preferability in future visits.
