Idiopathic anaphylaxis: Diagnosis and treatment

Öz:
Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening disorder that typically occurs as a result of involvement more than one system (e.g. dermatologic, respiratory, cardiovascular or gastrointestinal system ) with diffe-rent symptoms. It usually happens abruptly after contacting with a known or an unknown allergen. Anaphylaxis can, nevertheless, take place without any particular precipitant, reason or occasion, and this well-known type of disorder has been named as idiopat-hic anaphylaxis. The diagnosis of idiopathic anaphylaxis is made following an accurate assessment of allergy and elimination of any offensive agent. Idiopathic anaphylaxis has been currently defined in children and adults, and growing reports of patients are being observed globally. Idiopathic anaphylaxis is potentially lethal; typifies an origin of main health care expenses, brings anxiety to the patient and family, although it is manageable by correct therapeutic maneuvers. Since it is a corticosteroid- res-ponsive disorder, it may have an immunological pathogenesis. Certain therapeutic regimes have been proven to be helpful in prophylactic treatment of idiopathic anaphylaxis. In the gathe-red data of idiopathic anaphylaxis cases in the literature, there have been a few fatalities described.
