Soğuk Algınlığının Tedavisi ve Korunmasına Güncel Bir Bakış

Öz:

Virüslerin etken olduğu soğuk algınlığı birinci basamak sağlık hizmetine yapılan başvuruların ve iş gücü kaybının büyük kısmından sorumludur. Çoğunlukla benignkarakterli seyre sahiptir ve komplikasyonları da sık görülmemektedir. Tedavisi semptomatiktir. Farmakolojik ajanların yanında vitaminlerin ve bitkisel ürünlerin dehastalar tarafından şifa amacıyla sıklıkla kullanıldığı bir hastalıktır. Farklı toplumlarda benimsenen tedavi yaklaşımları çok fazla miktarda değişiklikler gösterebilmektedir.Tedavisi kadar önlenmesi konusunda da çok sayıda yöntem uygulanmaktadır. Tedavi ve önlenmesi konusundaki bu çeşitlilik hem maliyet yükü hem de olumsuzsonuçlanabilmesi açısından önemli bir halk sağlığı sorunu olma özelliği taşımaktadır. Bu derlemede bu tür tedavi ve önleme yöntemlerinin sıklıkla uygulananlarınınincelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Öz:

Te common cold that is caused by viruses comprise the majority of applications to primary health care and the loss of labor force. Mostly, the course of the illness has a beningn character with rare complications. Te treatment is symptomatic. Along with the pharmacological agents, vitamins and herbal products are frequently used by patients for healing. Te treatment approaches adopted in diferent societies may vary considerably. Also, many methods as much as treatment applications are used for prevention. Tis diversity in the treatment and the prevention of the illness is an important public health problem in terms of both cost burden and negative consequences. In this review, we aimed to examine the frequently applied treatment and prevention methods of the illness.
