Algılanan Duyarlılık-Duyarsızlık Ölçeğinin Romantik İlişkiler Bağlamında Türkçeye Uyarlama Çalışması

Algılanan Duyarlılık-Duyarsızlık Ölçeğinin Romantik İlişkiler Bağlamında Türkçeye Uyarlama Çalışması

Öz:
Literatürde, algılanan partner duyarlılığını ölçen araçlar genellikle yapı geçerliği gösterilmeden, araştırmacıların pratik ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda tek boyutlu bir kavramsallaştırmaya dayanarak geliştirilmiştir. Söz konusu sınırlılıklardan hareketle, Algılanan Duyarlılık-Duyarsızlık Ölçeği (ADDÖ) Crasta ve arkadaşları (2021) tarafından geçerliği ve güvenirliği gösterilmiş yeni bir ölçüm aracı olarak uluslararası literatüre kazandırılmıştır. Güncel araştırmanın amacı, ADDÖ Türkçe (ADDÖ-TR) formunun geçerliğini ve güvenirliğini romantik ilişkisi bulunan bireylerden oluşan bir örneklemde incelemektir. Katılımcılar, araştırma ölçek setini online bir platform aracılığıyla doldurmuştur. En az 6 aydır romantik ilişkisi bulunan ve araştırmaya katılan 465 katılımcı, seçkisiz yöntemle iki ayrı örnekleme (n1=336 ve n2=129) ayrılmıştır. Birinci örneklemin yaş ortalaması 30.07 ve ikinci örneklemin ise 29.54’tür. Birinci örneklemin %75.9’u ve ikinci örneklemin %81.40’ı kadınlardan oluşmaktadır. Yapı geçerliği ve iç tutarlılık güvenirliği bulguları, ADDÖ-TR’nin Duyarlılık ve Duyarsızlık olmak üzere iki boyutlu yapısını doğrulayarak her iki boyutun da yüksek düzeyde güvenirliğe sahip olduğunu birinci örneklemde göstermiştir. Ölçüt geçerliği bulguları, Duyarlılık ve Duyarsızlık boyutundan alınan puanlar ile bireysel özellikler ve ilişki dinamiklerine ait değerlendirmeler arasında beklendik yönde anlamlı ilişkiler olduğunu ikinci örneklemde göstermiştir. Artımsal geçerlik analizi bulguları, Duyarlılık puanları kontrol edildikten sonra Duyarsızlık puanlarının ilişki dinamikleri üzerindeki anlamlı etkisini ikinci örneklemde göstermiştir. Sonuç olarak, mevcut araştırma ADDÖ-TR’nin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğunu göstermektedir.

The Turkish Adaptation Study of the Perceived Responsiveness and Insensitivity Scale in the Context of Romantic Relationships

Perceived partner responsiveness measures have been generally developed without demonstrating construct validity, based on a one-dimensional conceptualization in line with the practical needs of researchers. Based on these limitations, Crasta et al. (2021) have introduced the Perceived Responsiveness and Insensitivity Scale (PRIS) to the literature as an optimized measure with demonstrated validity-reliability. The current study aimed to examine the validity-reliability of the PRIS Turkish form (PRIS-TR) in a sample including individuals with romantic relationships. Participants filled out the research scale set via an online platform. 465 participants with romantic relationships with at least 6 months were randomly divided into two sample groups (n1=336 and n2=129). The mean age of the first sample was 30.07 and of the second sample was 29.54. 75.9% of the first and 81.40% of the second samples included women. Construct validity and internal consistency reliability findings in the first sample confirmed the two-factor structure of PRIS-TR, namely Responsiveness and Insensitivity, and showed that both factors had high reliability. The criterion validity findings revealed that there were significant relationships among Responsiveness, Insensitivity, individual characteristics, and relationship dynamics, in the expected directions in the second sample. Incremental validity findings showed the significant contribution of Insensitivity to relationship dynamics after controlling for Responsiveness in the second sample. Thus, the current research supports that PRIS- TR is a valid-reliable measure.
