Although elevated serum IgE isaccepted asa sign ofatopy, high totalIgE level may accompany with non-allergic asthma and contributeto pathogenesis and severity of the disease independently fromatopy. In this case report, we present patient of us whose allergyskin tests and specific IgEs were negative, who was startedomalizumab treatment following obtaining weak positivity againstDermatofagoides pteronysinus in intradermal tests repetaed withone year interval and who significantly benefited from treatment.
