Diş hekimliği korkusu ve kaygısı

Öz:

Diş hekimliği pratiğinde hekimler bazı hastalarda korku ve kaygı reaksiyonları ile karşı karşıya kalabilmektedirler. Bu reaksiyonlar, dental tedavi sırasında hem hasta hem de hekim için birtakım zorluklara neden olabilmektedir. Bu derlemenin amacı, literatürdeki güncel bilgiler ışığında diş hekimliği korkusu ve kaygısının gelişmesindeki etkenlerin, korku ve kaygının belirlenmesinde kullanılan yöntemlerin ve bu bieylerin dental tedavileri öncesinde korku ve kaygılarının azaltılması için alınabilecek önlemlerin incelenmesidir.

Dental fear and anxiety

Öz:

Dentists are likely to face with dental fear and anxiety reactions in some of their patients during dental treatment. This can create stress in both dentists and patients. The aims of thes review arte to assess the factors related with dental fear and anxiety reactions, to investigate the diagnosis methods of fear and preventive measures which can aid in decreasing anxiety and fear reactions during dental treatment according to current literature.
