Nitrik oksit ve nörofizyopatolojik etkileri

Öz:
Nitrik oksit (NO), zehirli serbest radikal bir gazdır.

Nitric oxide and its neurophysiopathological effects

Öz:
Nitric oxide (NO) is a poisonous free radical gas. It plays a role in many functions of human organism, and in many diseases. NO is produced by almost every cell and has effects on different cells. Therefore, it acts as a general transmitter. While the other free oxygen-radicals are harmful in every concentration, low levels of NO plays regulatory role in many physiological processes such as blood pressure, gastrointestinal system functions, host defence, and nonspesific immunity. However, NO causes many pathological conditions when it is produced at inappropriately localizations and in high quantity
