YER BAĞLILIĞI ÖLÇEĞI GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Öz:
Araştırmada park rekreasyonu faaliyetlerine katılan bireylerin yer bağlılığını ölçmek için Williams ve Roggenbuck (1989) tarafından geliĢtirilen 22 Madde 3 alt boyuttan oluşan Yer Bağlılığı Ölçeği‟nin (Place Attachment Scale) Türk popülasyonuna uygunluğunun test edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yapılan çeviri çalışmalarının ardından, veriler park rekreasyonuna katılan çalışma grubundan toplanmıştır. Örneklem grubunun büyüklüğü KMO ve Barlett testi ile değerlendirilmiş ve örneklem grubunun (.81, p<0,001) yeterli büyüklükte olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yapının tekrar sınanması yönünde ölçek geliştiricilerle uzlaşıya varılmış ve açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Ölçekten çıkartılan maddeler sonucunda elde edilen toplam 19 maddelik ölçeğin birinci faktörü; etkinlikleri gerçekleştirmek için en iyi yerin olduğu ile ilgili “yere bağımlılık”, ikinci faktörü; etkinliğin gerçekleştirildiği yerin oldukça önemsenmediği ile ilgili “yere karşı ilgisizlik” ve üçüncü faktörü; bireylerin mekânı yaşamlarının merkezi haline getirerek kullandıkları ile ilgili “yer kimliği” boyutu oluşturmaktadır. Bu 3 faktörün ölçeğe ilişkin açıkladıkları varyans %49,79, iç güvenirlik katsayıları ise sırasıyla .87, .61, .79‟dur. Yapının doğrulanması adına yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizi bulguları da ölçeğin geçerli bir yapıda olduğunu desteklemektedir (x2/df=4,79; RMSEA=0,08, SRMR=0,08; CFI=0,92). Araştırma sonucunda rekreasyonel etkinliklere katılan bireylerin yer bağlılığını değerlendirmede geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı ortaya koyulmuştur.

Öz:
In the study, it was aimed to test the compatibility of the Place Attachment Scale, which was developed by Williams and Roggenbuck (1989), consisting of 22 items and 3 sub-dimensions, to the Turkish population in order to measure the place attachment of individuals participating in park recreation activities. Following the translation studies, data were collected from the working group participating in the park recreation. The size of the sample group was evaluated by KMO and Bartlett test and it was determined that the sample group (.81, p <0.001) was large enough. An agreement was reached with the scale developers to re-test the structure and an exploratory factor analysis was performed. The first factor of the 19-item scale obtained as a result of the items removed from the scale; “dependence on location”, second factor, regarding the best place to perform activities; “indifference towards the place” and the third factor, which is that the place where the activity is held is not considered very important; it creates the dimension of "place identity" related to the individuals' use of space by making it the center of their lives. The variance explained by these 3 factors for the scale is 49.79%, and the internal reliability coefficients are .87, .61, .79, respectively. Confirmatory factor analysis findings made to verify the structure also support that the scale has a valid structure (x2 / df = 4.79; RMSEA = 0.08, SRMR = 0.08; CFI = 0.92). As a result of the research, a valid and reliable measurement tool has been put forward to evaluate the place attachment of individuals participating in recreational activities.
