COVID-19 SALGINI VE DÖNÜŞÜMÜN ETKİSİ: ŞİMDİ VE SONRASI

Öz:

Bu çalışmada, COVID-19 salgınının sosyo-ekonomik, politik ve çevresel etkileri ve olası sonuçları incelenmektedir. COVID-19 pandemisi, insan ve halk sağlığını tehdit etmesinin yanında ekonomik, sosyal- kültürel ve politik anlamda olumsuz etkilere sebep olur. Salgının bulaşma riskini azaltmak ve salgını kontrol altına almak için pek çok ülke bir dizi önlem alır. Seyahatler kısıtlanır. Okullar, kafeler, restoran, müze ve ören yerleri gibi alanlar kapatılır. Ülkeler, kısa ve uzun süreli sokağa çıkma yasağı getirir. Özetle, ekonomiye ve sosyal yaşama ilişkin neredeyse tüm faaliyetler durdurulur. Sadece gıdaya ve sanayiye yönelik zorunlu işletmeler açık kalır. Bunun sonucu ise birçok insan işini kaybeder. Sosyal ilişkiler, izolasyonun getirdiği kuralar-sosyal mesafe vb. kısıtlamalar-ile birlikte en aza iner. İnsanlar arasında stres, kaygı ve endişe türü psikolojik travmalar yaygınlaşır. Bunlara karşın, COVID-19 pandemisinin dört temel konu üzerinde olumlu etkileri görülür: Doğal çevrenin kendini yenilemesi, insanların kendilerini tanımaları için fırsat olması, gelecekteki salgınlara karşı hazırlıklı olma ve yerli üretimin önem kazanmasıdır.

THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND THE IMPACT OF TRANSFORMATION: NOW AND LATER

Öz:

In this study, socio-economic, political and environmental impacts and the possible consequences of the COVID- 19 outbreak are examined. Many countries have introduced measures to reduce the risk of transmission and to keep the epidemic under control. Travel is restricted. Venues such as schools, cafes, restaurants, museums, and archaeological sites are closed. Countries impose short and long-term curfews. In summary, almost all social and economic activities cease and only vital businesses relating to the food industry remain open. As a result, many people lose their jobs. Relationships are minimized with rules such as isolation and social distancing. Psychological trauma such as stress and anxiety are common. However, the positive effects of the COVID-19 pandemic are seen on four fundamental subjects: The renewal of the natural environment, an opportunity for people to get to know themselves, learning to be prepared for future epidemics, and the increased importance of domestic production.
