Shirin Neshat occupies an important place among many artists exploring issues of gender, faith, social justice, and human rights. It has been argued that Shirin Neshad's series of contemporary representations of Iranian women point to a bold and evolving interface that brings Western and Middle Eastern women closer together. The artist's adventure, which began with the “Women of Allah” photography series, shows how the situation has turned into a source of inspiration for her and her art when the life of women in Iran is viewed from both inside and outside. The aim of this study is to make an exhibition critique of Neshat's artistic works that emerged as a result of her adventure in the Iranian American diaspora through her retrospective exhibition titled “I Will Salute the Sun Again.” In the research, the artist's works including “Women of Allah,” “Turbulent,” “Rapture,” “Fervour,” and “Passage,” as well as her photo series and videos titled “The Book of Kings,” “The Home of My Eyes,” and “Land of Dreams” in the exhibition “I Will Greet the Sun Again” are included. In this research article, Shirin Neshat's works have been analyzed through the exhibition “I Will Salute the Sun Again.” In the study, a qualitative and quantitative analysis was made based on the artist's creation and exhibition practice. Taking into account the conceptual background information and narrative forms that exist in the artist's works, her artistic approach and style are analyzed based on indicators and the current situation is evaluated.
