The Adoptıon of Online Grocery Shopping (Dry Food, Fresh Fruits, Vegetables and Packaged Food Products etc.): The Regulatory Role of Covid-19 Anxiety

Öz:
The effect of the pandemic process caused by Covid-19 on the volume and amount of online trade, as well as the restrictions it brings to everyday life and the anxiety disorders it creates are the main motivators of this study. The study focuses on online grocery shopping that consumers make, especially in categories such as dry food, fresh fruits, vegetables and packaged food products. The main purpose of the study is; to reveal the effects of the perception of usefulness, ease of use, security, information availability, delivery, pricing and time-saving perceptions by consumers on their online shopping attitude, satisfaction and purchase intention and to determine the regulatory role of Covid-19 anxiety in the relationships between these variables. In order to test research hypotheses in the study, data was collected from 251 consumers using the convenience sampling method. The study results have shown that the information given on the website being reliable and valid, as well as providing a price advantage to the consumer, are the most important variables in terms of both satisfaction and attitude. A regulatory role of anxiety has been found among some variables.
