In this study, the effect of satisfaction in the consumer living space and the self-control that consumers have in their expenditures on life satisfaction is examined. Study was applied in households residing in Istanbul and 600 questionnaires were evaluated. SPSS 22.0 and M-PLUS 8.2 package statistical programs were used in the analysis of the data. Frequency distributions and demographic characteristics of the participants were examined; reliability and regression analyses were performed. As a result of the research, it was found that the product quality, the availability of the desired products, prices, store ambience, staff courtesy, return and exchange policies, acquisition satisfaction expressing working hours and consumption service usage satisfaction had a negative effect on life satisfaction. It was concluded that consumer spending self-control, which has the ability to monitor and regulate consumers' thoughts and decisions about spending in accordance with the standards they set, has a positive effect on life satisfaction.
