Wos ve scopus veri tabanlarının karşılaştırılması

Öz:
Bu makale, Web of Science (WoS) ve Scopus veri tabanlarının içerik, konu başlıkları ve coğrafi dağılımları bakımından karşılaştırılmasını içermektedir. Ayrıca çalışma, WoS ve Scopus verilerine dayanılarak Türkiye'nin 2000-2009 yılları arasındaki on yıllık dönemde Sosyal Bilimler ile Sanat ve Beşeri Bilimler alanlarında yapılan yayınların analizi ile desteklenmiştir. On yıllık dönem içinde veri tabanlarında indekslenen yayınlar, yayın sayıları, ortalama büyüme oranları ve en fazla yayın yapılan konu başlıkları bakımından değerlendirilmiştir.

Comparison of the wos and scopus databases

Öz:
In this article, WoS and Scopus databases are being compared in terms of their content, subject headings and their regional comprehension. Also, the research are supported through an analysis of studies of the Social, Art and Humanities subjects which are published in the WoS and Scopus databases with Turkish address between 2000 - 2009 years. In the past decade, indexed studies, the incensement in the number of publishing, the subject headings which have presented the most increase were investigated.
