Öz:

Bireylerin mekan ve zaman sınırı olmaksızın kişisel verilerini paylaşabildikleri sosyal medya aynı zamanda özel hayatın gizliliğinin ihlali riskini de beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu ihlallere karşı bireyi korumayı amaçlayan çeşitli düzenlemeler yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada son dönemde söz konusu girişimlerin en önemlilerinden biri olan unutulma hakkı incelenecektir.

Öz:

Social media is a space where people can share their personal data without place and time limitation also brings the risk of breach of secrecy of privacy of individual life. There are many regulations which aim to protect privacy of individual life against the breach of secrecy. In this article, the right to be forgotten which is a effort to protect privacy of individual life recently will be examined.
