Akut posterior multifokal plakoid pigment epitelyopati

Öz:

Amaç: Akut posterior multifokal plakoid pigment epitelyopatili (APMPPE) olgularımızın klinik özelliklerinin değerlendirmek. Yöntem: Uvea birimimizde takip ettiğimiz 2 APMPPE'li hastanın klinik ve anjiografik özellikleri incelendi. Bulgular: Hastalarımızın ikisi de kadın, yaşları 34 ve 40'tı. İki hastamız da tek göz tutulumlu idi. Bir olguda nöroretinit bulguları ile birlikte olmak üzere, her iki olguda da makülada çok sayıda krem rengi plaklar vardı. Görme keskinlikleri iki olguda da parmak sayma düzeyinde idi. İki-üç hafta içinde aktif lezyonlar yerlerinde pigment epiteli atrofisine bırakarak iyileşirken görme keskinlikleri 0.5 ve 0.8 düzeylerine yükseldi. Sonuç: APMPPE nadir görülen, makülayı tutmasına rağmen genellikle görme keskinliğinin iyi düzeyde geri döndüğü bir arka üveit nedenidir.

Acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopaty

Öz:

Purpose: Assessment of patients with acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy (APMPPE). Methods: We evaluated 2 patients with APMPPE followed-up in our uvea department. Results: All the patients were female. The ages of patients were 34 and 40 years. Both patients were involved unilaterally. There were cream coloured plaquelike lesions in macular in both patients and in one patient, the lesions were associated with neuroretinitis. Visal acuities, in both of the patients were counting fingers. The lesions were recovered between 2-3 weeks, and pigmented atrophic. lesions remained in macula of patients. Visual acuities were increased between 0.5 and 0.8. Conclusion: APMPPE is a rare posterior uveitis that involves the macula but visual acuity recover well levels.
