Van ilinde bir tilkide (Vulpes vulpes) bulunan helmintler
Öz: Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi kampüsü yolu üzerinde araba çarpması sonucu ölen bir dişi tilkiye otopsi yapılmış ve tüm iç organlar usulüne uygun olarak helmintolojik yönden muayene edilmiştir. Muayene sonucunda, ince bağırsakta 336 adet Mesocestoides lineatus scolexi ve bir adet bu parazitin larvası olan Tetrathyridium'a rastlanmıştır. Ayrıca biri dişi, sekizi erkek olmak üzere toplam dokuz adet Toxascaris leonina ve akciğerlerde bir adet dişi Crenosoma vulpis tespit edilmiştir. Mesocestoides lineatus, Crenosoma vulpis ve Toxascaris leonina Van ilinde karnivorlarda ilk bulgulardır.

Helminths found in a fox (Vulpes vulpes) in the province of Van
Öz: An autopsy was carried out on a dead fox found on the way to 100 Yıl University campus. All of the internal organs were examined for the presence of helminths. Three hundred and thirty six Mesocestoides lineatus and one Tetrathyridium sp. were found in the small intestine of the fox during the examination, In addition, nine Toxascaris leonina (one female and eight males) were found in the small intestine and a female Crenosoma vulpis, in the lung of the fox. This was the first detection of Mesocestoides lineatus, C. vulpis and Toxascris leonina in the province of Van.
