İki boyutlu yas ölçeği'nin türkçe formunun geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması

Öz:
Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, yas sürecini ayrıntılı olarak değerlendiren ve 70 maddeden oluşan İki Boyutlu Yas Ölçeğinin (The Two Track Model of Bereavement Questionnaire/TTBQ) (Rubin ve ark. 2009) Türkçeye uyarlanması için geçerlik ve güvenilirlik çalışmasını yapmaktır. Yöntem: İki Boyutlu Yas Ölçeğinin Türkçe formunun (TTBQ-T) önce Türkçe çevirisi ve geri çevirisi yapılmış ve daha sonra İki Boyutlu Yas Ölçeğinin Türkçe formu (TTBQ-T) son 5 yıl içinde yakın birini kaybe- den 205 kişiye uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini değerlendirmek için katılımcılara Beck Depresyon Envanteri (BDE) ile Olay Etkisi Ölçeği- Gözden Geçirilmiş Formu (The Impact of Event Scale-Revised/ IES-R) da uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin faktör yapısı, güvenilirliği ve test- tekrar test güvenilirliği değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Yapılan faktör analizi sonucu TTBQ-T, çoğunlukla özgün ölçekle örtüşen, ancak çapraz yükleri olan maddelere sahip Aktif yas sürecinin ilişkisel yönü , Kaybedilen kişiyle kurulan yakın ve olum- lu ilişkiler , Yasın travmatik olarak algılanması , Kaybedilen kişiyle kurulan çatışmalı ilişkiler ve Sosyal işlevsellikte bozulma olarak adlandırılan 5 faktöre ayrılmıştır. Ölçeğin iç tutarlılık katsayıları bu faktörler için sırasıyla şöyledir: 0,91, 0,88, 0,82, 0,78, 0,65. Ölçeğin özgün çalışmada olduğu gibi iki temel boyuta ayrılıp ayrılmadığını be- lirlemek için üst sıra faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini değerlendirmek için BDE, IES-R ve TTBQ-T toplam puanları arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Sonuçlar ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini desteklemiştir. Sonuç: Sonuçlar ölçeğin Türk örneklemindeki geçerliğini ve güvenilirliğini büyük ölçüde desteklemektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar yazın ışığında tartışılmıştır.

The Reliability and Validity Study of the Turkish Version of Two Track Model of Bereavement Questionnaire

Öz:
Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Two Track Model of BereavemenQuestionnaire (TTBQ-T) (Rubin ve ark. 2009), a-70 items question- naire for comprehensively evaluating the process of bereavement. Materials and Methods: The questionnaire was initially translated from English into Turkish, and then back translated. Subsequently, iwas administered to 205 bereaved individuals that lost a significant oth- er within the last 5 years. In order to assess the questionnaire s validitythe Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and the Impact of Event Scale- Revised (IES-R) were also administered to the participants. The factor structure, total reliability, and test-retest reliability of the TTBQ-T were evaluated. Results: Factor analysis yielded results that were, for the most partsimiliar with those yielded by the original study; however, there were some cross loading items that yielded a 5-factor solution (Relationaactive grieving, Close and positive Relationship with the DeceasedTraumatic perception of the loss, Conflictual relationship with the de- ceased and Social Dysfunction). Cronbach s Alpha coefficients for these 5 factors were 0,91, 0,88, 0,82, 0,78 and 0,65 respectively. In order to determine if the responses were loaded under 2 tracks, a higher or- der factor analysis was conducted. The relationships between BDI and IES-R, and TTBQ-T total scores were examined in order to determine the construct validity of the TTBQ-T. The present findings indicate that TTBQ-T has construct validity. Conclusions: The findings indicate that TTBQ-T is a reliable and valid the questionnaire for use in Turkey.
