Çocukların psikolojik araştırmaya katılımı: Çocuk hakları çerçevesinden bir değerlendirme

Öz:
Bu makale, çocuk haklarına ilişkin iki kavramsal yönelimle ilgilidir. Sözü geçen bu kavramsalyönelimlerden ilki, çocukların ve ergenlerin koşulsuz ve şartsız, tek ve hür yaşamasınaolanak tanıyan tanınma, güvenlik ve korunma haklarına yöneliktir. İkincisi ise her türlüaraştırma ortamında çocukların seslerini duyurmalarına olanak sağlayan, onların araştırmacıyla kardeşçe bir diyalog kurmasını kolaylaştıran özerklik haklarına ilişkindir. Bu ikincikavramsal yönelim araştırma ortamında çocuk ve ergenlerin bakış açısına yaptığı vurguaçısından özellikle önemlidir. Bu bağlamda makale, çocukların ve ergenlerin kendi haklarınınasıl algıladıklarına ilişkin kuramsal altyapıdan da beslenerek onların araştırma ortamındakikatılımının sağlanmasının gerekliliğini ve önemini vurgulamaktadır.

Children s participation in psychological research: An evaluation from children s rights perspective

Öz:
This paper deals with two conceptual orientations toward the rights of children: the children sunconditioned right to recognition, security and protectionnecessary prerequisites in order for each and every one of us to be able to live unique and free : and the right to be heard andlistened to in an unbiased and harmonious dialogue in research settings. More specifcally,this paper aims to brings attention to self-determination rights in research settings fromchildren s and adolescent s perspective. First, the theoretical background concerning the studyof children s perspectives on their rights will be considered, followed by a focus on children sparticipation in research settings.
