Case with posterior urethral valve at 13 weeks of gestation: A very early diagnosis
Öz: Posterior üretral valve'ler fetal mesane obstrüksiyonunun en sık görülen sebebidirler ve sadece erkek fetuslarda (5000 erkek fetusta 1) görülürler. Bu çalışmada, annenin son âdet tarihine göre 13 hafta 3 günlük tekil erkek fetusu sunduk. Ultrasonografide belirgin mesane dilatasyonu, klasik ''anahtar deliği'' görünümü sergileyen proximal ürethral dilatasyon, bilateral hidronefroz ve böbreklerin bilateral kistik displazisi izlendi. Gebelik medikal abortusla sonlandırıldı. Kromozom analizi sonucu 46XY idi. Yapılan otopsi ultrason bulgularını doğrular nitelikte idi. Posterior urethral valve'lerin erken tanısı çok önemlidir. Çünkü tanı ne kadar erken konulursa yaklaşım yöntemleri de o kadar erken açığa kavuşmuş olur.

Öz: OBJECTIVE: Posterior urethral valves occur only in males and are the most common cause of fetal bladder obstruction (1 in 5000 males ). In this study, we represent a case of a single male fetus which was 13 weeks and 3 days old according to the last menses period of the mother. Marked bladder dilatation and dilatation of the proximal urethra giving the classic ''key hole'' appearance and bilateral hydronephrozis and bilateral cystic displasia of the kidneys were present with ultrasonography. The pregnancy was terminated by medical abortion. A chromosomal analysis was performed and the result was 46 XY. An autopsy was done. Our ultrasonographic findings were confirmed with the autopsy. The early diagnosis of posterior urethral valves are very important, because early detection of the anomalies may give us the chance of clarifying our way of management early.
