Seroprevalence of torche antibodies among pregnant women in Gazi University hospital

Öz:

Bu çalışmada, Gazi Üniversitesi Hastanesi'ne başvuran gebe kadınlarda TORCHE infeksiyonlarının seroprevalansının araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya 740 gebe kadın alınmıştır. Toksoplasma ve Rubella infeksiyonlarına karşı gelişen IgM ve IgG antikorları ELISA kitleri kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Gebe kadınlardaki TORCHE infeksiyonu seroprevalansları sırasıyla: Toksoplasma IgM %2.8, IgG %31; Rubella IgM %1.8, IgG %93.6; Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV-I) IgM %7.5; HSV-II IgM %7.6; Epstein Barr Virus IgM %2.1; Sitomegalovirus IgM %0 ve IgG %92.6 olarak bulunmuştur. Gebelik süresince oluşan TORCHE infeksiyonları, bebeklerde yaygın klinik komplikasyonlara neden olmaktadır. Tüm gebe kadınların toksoplasma ve rubella için IgM ve IgG antikorları yönünden incelenmeleri önerilmektedir.
