HERKES İÇİN SAĞLIK: LGBTİ BİREYLERİN ESENLİĞİNİ HEDEFLEYEN SAĞLIK HİZMETLERİNE DOĞRU

Öz:
Makale LGBTİ (lezbiyen, gey, biseksüel ve trans) bireylerin, çoğunlukla cinsel yönelim ve cinsiyet kimliği temelli ayrımcılıknedeniyle, toplumun çoğunluğundan yüksek oranda karşılaştıkları sağlık risklerini İngilizce alan yazın üzerinden betimlemektedir.Makalede şu alanlara değinilmektedir: LGBTİ bireylerin karşı karşıya olduğu stres faktörleri ile sağlık riski davranışları arasındakiilişki, LGBTİ bireylerin ruh sağlığı, madde bağımlılığı, şiddet, cinsel sağlık hizmetleri, LGBTİ bireylerin sağlık hizmetlerine erişimleri,LGBTİ bireylerin sağlık sigortasına erişimleri, barınma ve trans bireylerin sağlığı. Makale Türkiyede LGBTİ bireyleri içeren ve LGBTİbireylerin esenliğini sağlamayı hedefl eyen bir sağlık sisteminin nasıl mümkün olabileceğine ilişkin öneriler ile sonlanmaktadır.

Health for All: Towards Health Care Services Aiming for the Well-Being of LGBTI Individuals

Öz:
: Drawing on the literature on LGBTI individuals and health in English, this article describes health risks that LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexualand trans) individuals face, mainly due to discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. The article covers thefollowing domains: the relationship between stress factors that LGBTI individuals face and their health risk behaviours, the mentalhealth of LGBTI individuals, substance dependence, violence, sexual health services, the state of LGBTI individuals in accessing healthcare services, the state of LGBTI individuals in accessing health insurance, housing and the health of trans individuals. In the conclusionpart, the article provides policy suggestions for Turkey to make its health system inclusive for LGBTI individuals and serve the well-beingof LGBTI individuals.
