Sibutramin İçeren Reçetesiz Zayıflama Ürününün İndüklediği İlk Manik Hecme
Öz: Sibutramin obesite tedavisinde kullanılan serotonin,noradrenalin ve daha zayıf bir şekilde de dopamin gerialımını engelleyen ve birçok psikiyatrik yan etkileri olanbir beta feniletilamindir. Kardiyolojik yan etkileri nedeniyleyasaklanmış olmasına rağmen halen internet üzerindenZayıflama hapı adı altında satışı devam etmektedir.Antidepresanların manik veya hipomanik kaymaya nedenolabilecekleri bilinmektedir. Sibutramin, antidepresanözelliğinden dolayı manik veya hipomanik kaymaya nedenolabilir. Biz, internetten satın aldığı sibutramin içeren birzayıflama ilacını kullandıktan hemen sonra ilk kez manikbir hecme geçiren altı ay sonrasında ise servisimize yinemanik hecme nedeniyle yatırılan bir adölesanı sunuyoruz.

First manic episode induced by over the counter slimming drug that contains sibutramine
Öz: Sibutramine, a serotonin, noradrenalin and to alesser extent dopamine reuptake inhibitor, is a betaphenyletylamine used in obesity treatment and hasmany psychiatric side effects. Although, prohibited due tocardiologic side effects, it is still being sold as Slimmingpills via internet. It is known that antidepressants cancause manic or hypomanic shifts. Since sibutraminehas an antidepressant activity it may cause manic orhypomanic shifts. We present an adolescent who hadhis first manic episode after using sliming pills, whichcontain sibutramine, and was admitted to our service forhis second manic episode 6 months after his first episode.
