Basketbolcuların ve Futbolcuların Sportmenlik Yönelimleri

Öz:

Bu çalışmanın amacı basketbol ve futbolcuların sportmenlik yönelimlerini çeşitli değişkenleraçısından incelemektir. Çalışmaya Antalyada yaşayan, yaş ortalaması 22.07 olan ve daha evvel lisanslıolarak spor yapan 151 basketbolcu ve 161 futbolcu olmak üzere toplam 312 sporcu katılmıştır. Katılımcıların 141i kadın 171i erkek sporculardan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak kişiselbilgi formu ve çok boyutlu sportmenlik yönelimleri ölçeği (MSOS) kullanılmıştır. Sporcuların ölçektenaldığı puanlar ile kişisel bilgileri ve spor branşları karşılaştırılmış ve aralarındaki farklar ortaya konulmuş- tur. Verilerin yorumlanmasında frekans, yüzde dağılımları ve nonparametrik testlerden Mann-Whitney Utesti kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; Kurallar ve Yönetime Saygı alt boyutundabasketbolcuların sportmenlik puanı ortalamasının futbolculardan anlamlı olarak farklı olduğu görülürkenKurallar ve Yönetime Saygı, Rakibe Saygı alt boyutu ve Ölçek Toplam puanlarında 22 ve üstü yaşa sahipsporcuların sportmenlik puanları 21 ve altı yaşa sahip sporculardan anlamlı olarak farklı olduğu ortayakonmuştur. Cinsiyete ve spor yaşına göre yapılan testlerde ise anlamlı bir ortaya çıkmamıştır.

Sp ortsp ersonship Orientations of Basketball and Soccer Players

Öz:

The purpose of this study is to investigate the sportspersonship orientations of basketball andsoccer players about some variables. There are 151 basketball and 161 soccer players, in total 312 playerswhose average age was 22.07, who participated in this study. Participants were 141 women and 171 manathletes and living in Antalya. The Multidimensional Sportspersonship Orientation Scale (MSOS) and apersonal information form were used as the data collection tools. Sport branches and the personalinformation of the players and their scores, taken from the scale, were compared and the differences havebeen stated. Descriptions, frequency and Non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test were used in the inter- pretation of this data. As a result of this research, in the subscale of Respect for rules and management itwas found that the average sportspersonship scores of basketball players were significantly higher thanthe soccer players; in the subscale of Respect for Rules and Management, Respect for Opponent and totalscore the average sportspersonship scores of 22 and over age were significantly higher than the 21 andunder age players. There were no significance between gender and sport age and sportspersonshiporientations.
