FİRMA İÇİ VE DIŞI KAYNAKLARIN ORGANİZASYONEL YENİLİK GELİŞTİRMEDEKİ ETKİLERİ

Öz:
Firmalar, çevrelerindeki değişimlere uyum sağlamak, rekabet güçlerini koruyabilmek ve ekonomik olarak gelişmek maksadıyla yenilik faaliyetlerine önem vermektedirler. Bu faaliyetler, yeni ürün ve hizmetlerin yanısıra, maliyetlerin düşürülmesi, kalite ve verimliliğin artırılması amacıyla geliştirilen ve benimsenen organizasyonel yenilikleri (yeni iş modelleri, yönetim teknikleri, organizasyonel yapılar vb.) de kapsamaktadır. Çalışmada, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu Yenilik Araştırması 2012'ye katılan farklı sektör ve büyüklükteki firmalarda, organizasyonel yenilik yapma durumları ve firmaların organizasyonel yenilik yapmasını etkileyen faktörlerin ve aralarındaki ilişkilerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bağlamsal faktörlerin etki derecelerini ortaya koymak amacıyla lojistik regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular, toplam ARGE harcaması, pazar büyüklüğü, eğitimli çalışan oranı ile piyasa temelli ve diğer bilgi kaynaklarının organizasyonel yenilik üzerinde pozitif ve anlamlı etkilerinin olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca, üniversite ve araştırma kurumları ile işbirliği yapmanın ise test edilen tüm modellerde organizasyonel yenilik üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olmadığı görülmüştür

EFFECTS OF INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL SOURCES OF FIRMS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF ORGANIZATIONAL INNOVATION

Öz:
Firms give importance to innovation activities in order to adapt themselves to changes in the environment, maintain their competitiveness and thrive themselves economically. These activities, as well as introducing new products and services, include organizational innovations (new business models, management techniques, organizational structures and so on.) which are developed and adopted to reduce costs, improve the quality and efficiency. In this study, we aimed to define factors which affect the firms to make organizational innovations, determine the relationships among them and the organizational innovation status of firms in different industries and sizes participated in Turkish Statistical Institute Innovation Survey 2012. Logistic regression analysis was used to reveal the degree of influence of contextual factors. Findings provided from the analysis revealed that total R&D expenses, market size, ratio of educated workers and market based and other information sources have significant effects on organizational innovation. We couldn't find any significant effect of cooperation with universities and research organizations on organizational innovation in any of the tested models
