Kedi Tırmığı Nöroretiniti

Öz:

Çalışmamızda kedi tırmığı hastalığına bağlı gelişen bir nöroretinit olgusunu sunmayı amaçladık. Ondört yaşındaki bayan hasta sağ gözde ağır görme kaybı şikayeti ile kliniğimize sevkedildi. Fundus incelemesinde papilödem ve makülada satellit eksuda olduğu saptandı. Bartonella henselae immunglobilin G testi pozitifti. Dört hafta doksisiklin ve rifampisini içeren antibiyotik tedavisi ile nöroretinitte ve görme düzeyinde düzelme saptandı. Bu bildiri B. Henselae enfeksiyonunun nöroretinit sebebi olabileceğini hatırlatmaktadır. Hastalığın prognozu erken tedavi ile düzeltilebilmektedir

Cat Scratch Neuroretinitis

Öz:

We aimed to report a case of cat-scratch disease neuroretinitis in our study. A 14-year-old girl was referred to our clinic for severe right visual loss. Fundus examination showed a papilledema with macular stellate exudates. Bartonella henselae immunoglobulin G testing was positive. Four weeks of antibiotic therapy combining oral doxycycline and rifampicin led to resolution of the neuroretinitis and improvement in visual acuity. This report reminds that B. henselae infection can be the cause of neuroretinitis. Its prognosis can be improved by early treatment
