Otizmli Çocuklara Doğrudan ve Video Modelle Birlikte Sunulan Pecs Uygulamasının Etkilerinin Karşılaştırılması

Öz:
Bu araştırmanın amacı, kendiliğinden iletişim başlatma becerisinin öğretiminde PECS' in birinci evresinin doğrudan sunulmasıyla video modelle birlikte sunulmasının etkililik ve verimlilik açısından farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelemektir. Araştırmada, tek-denekli araştırma modellerinden dönüşümlü uygulamalar modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya, okulöncesi dönemde OSB tanısı almış hâlihazırda bireysel eğitim alan üç çocuk ve genelleme oturumlarında anneleri katılmıştır. Araştırma sürecine ilişkin anneler bilgilendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkeni kendiliğinden iletişim başlatma becerisidir. Araştırmanın bağımsız değişkenleri ise, PECS in birinci evresinin doğrudan uygulanması ve video modelle birlikte uygulanmasıdır. Araştırmada başlama düzeyi, öğretim, öğretim sonu değerlendirme, genelleme ve izleme oturumları yer almıştır. Her oturumda biri yönlendirici diğeri iletişimci öğretmen olmak üzere iki uygulamacı yer almıştır. Video model süreci bir akran katılımcının model olması ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Video model görüntülerini sunmak için Ipad kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri grafiksel olarak analiz edilmiş ve her iki uygulamanın etkililikleri edinim aşamasında farklılaşmadığı gibi kalıcılık ve genelleme aşamasında da farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür
