Tabiyet ve Simgesel Şiddet Kavramları Üzerinden Foucault ve Bourdieu'yü Birlikte Okumak

Öz:

Bu çalışmada, Foucault'daki "tabiyet" ile Bourdieu'deki "simgesel şiddet" mefhumları arasındaki kavramsal sürekliliğin mevcudiyetine yoğunlaşarak her iki düşünürün eserleri ve yaklaşımları arasındaki yakınlıkların bir veçhesini ortaya çıkarmaya çabalayacağız. Bourdieu'nün "simgesel şiddet" mefhumunu tesis ederken Foucault düşüncesinin arka planda bir yerde saklı olduğunu ve "simgesel şiddet" mefhumunun etkin bir biçimde Foucault'nun "tabiyet" olarak adlandırdığı süreci kavramın felsefi rezonansının mevcut dar kalıplarının dışına çıkararak sosyolojik bir evrene yerleştirdiğini, dahası takviye ettiğini öne süreceğiz

Öz:

In this study, focusing on the presence of conceptual continuity between the notions of "subjection" and "symbolic violence" in Foucault and Bourdieu, we try to reveal an aspect of the connections between the works and approaches of both thinkers. It is maintained that as Bourdieu established the concept of "symbolic violence", Foucault's thought is hidden somewhere in the background, that Bourdieu not only releases the process called "subjection" by Foucault from the existing stringent matrix of the philosophical resonance of the concept, placing it in a sociological universe, but also supplement it.
