Matematik İşlem Testini Türkçe'ye Uyarlama Çalışması ve Öğretmen Adaylarının Matematik Problemlerini Çözme Tercihleri

Öz:
Bu araştırmada, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının matematik problemlerini çözme tercihlerini incelemek amacıyla Suwarsono (1982) tarafından geliştirilen Matematik İşlem Testi (MİT) Türkçeye uyarlanmıştır. Buna ek olarak, bu çalışma sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının matematik problemlerini görsel ve analitik çözme tercihlerini belirlemeyi amaçlamıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, Matematik İşlem Testinin Türk kültüründe kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu göstermektedir. Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı Matematik İşlem Testi I için 0.72, Matematik İşlem Testi II için 0.78 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Testin bütünü için bu değer 0.86 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, öğretmen adaylarının matematik problemlerini görsel ve analitik çözüm tercihlerinin soru tipi zorlaştığında değiştiğini göstermiştir. Sınıf düzeyinin öğretmen adaylarının problemleri çözme tercihleri üzerinde etkili bir faktör olduğu görülmüştür
