Measles

Öz:
is a very contagious childhood disease recognized all around the world. It can lead to severe complications. The most important of them is panencephalitis with irreversible brain damage that emerges years after acute illness. Since there is no effective treatment, vaccination possesses the utmost importance for the prevention of disease. Great effort has been spent to eliminate measles worldwide as well as in Turkey
