Teorik Olarak Yapılandırılmış Sosyal ve Bireysel Katılım Faktörlerinin Ampirik Olarak Sınanması

Teorik Olarak Yapılandırılmış Sosyal ve Bireysel Katılım Faktörlerinin Ampirik Olarak Sınanması
Öz: Aktif vatandaşlık, bireylerin demokratik değerler çerçevesinde kamusal, sosyal ve bireysel katılım davranışı sergilemesini ifade etmektedir. Çalışmada teorik olarak arkaplanı temellendirilmiş sosyal ve bireysel katılım davranışlarına etki eden faktörlerin ampirik olarak sınanması amaçlanmaktadır. Tarama modelinde ele alınan araştırma, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi'nde öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarının görüşlerine göre gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada veri toplama araçları olarak, Sosyal Katılım Düzey Ölçeği, Bireysel Katılım Düzey Ölçeği, Sosyal Katılımı Etkileyen Faktörler Ölçeği, Bireysel Katılımı Etkileyen Faktörler Ölçeği ve Medya Okuryazarlığı Anketi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistikler ve ANOVA testi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, sosyal katılım davranışının gerçekleşmesinde duygusal tatminlik, bilişsel hazıroluş, sosyal yeterlik, kişisel imkân, etkili örgütlenme faktörlerinin; bireysel katılım davranışın gerçekleşmesinde ise duygusal tatminlik, bilişsel hazıroluş, sosyal yeterlik, kişisel imkân, kazanç ve aidiyet faktörlerinin etkili olduğuna ulaşılmaktadır. Sosyal katılımda ortam ve kazanç; bireysel katılımda ise ortam faktörlerinin etkili olmadığı görülmüştür

The Empirical Testing of Social and Individual Participation Factors Constructed Theoretically
Öz: The approach of active citizenship addresses individuals’ public, social and individual participations in the context of democratic values. In this study, it is aimed to perform empirical testing of social and individual participation factors that were constructed theoretically. Withsurvey design, this study applied to the pre-service teachers in School of Education, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. Social Participation Level Scale, Individual Participation Level Scale, Factors Affect Social Participation Scale, Factors Affect Individual Participation Scale and Media Literacy Questionnaire were used as data collection tools. Descriptive statistics and ANOVA test were performed for data analysis. According to results, social participation is affected by readiness of cognitive and affective levels, social competence, personal opportunities, effective organizing factors, while individual participation is affected by readiness of cognitive and affective levels, social competence, personal opportunities, benefit and sense of belonging factors. It was found out that in social participation, environment and benefit factors are not efficient, while in individual participation only environment factor is not efficient.
