İKTİSADİ KRİZ VE İKTİSATTA KRİZ
Öz: Son küresel kriz iktisat disiplini içinde de bir bunalım yarattı. Bu yazının temel amacı bu bunalımı detaylı bir şekilde analiz etmektir. Neoklasik ve Yeni Keynesyen iktisatçılar temelde iktisat disiplininin ve iktisadi düzenin durumu hakkında ikiye bölündüler; reform isteyenler ve küçük değişiklikler dışında değişikliğe gerek olmadığını düşünenler. Ayrıca krizin de etkisiyle güçlenen ve temel derdi krizin uzunluğunu ve gelişini önceden kestirmek olan iktisadi astroloji de iktisat disiplini içinde giderek daha fazla ilgi çeker oldu. Reformistler ve reform istemeyenler arasında tartışma dört düzeyde yürütüldü. Birinci düzeyde kapitalizmin geleceği tartışıldı, ancak bu tartışmanın ömrü kısa oldu. İkinci düzeyde ise iktisat disiplini içinde faklı bakış açıları arasında bir hegemonik dönüşüm olasılığı ele alındı. Üçüncü düzey ise iktisat disiplinin kullandığı araçlar ve yöntemlerle ilgilidir. Son düzeyde ise temel tartışma alanı iktisat eğitiminde bir değişikliğin ne ölçüde gerekli olduğuydu. Bu çalışma dört düzeydeki tartışmayı da incelmeyi hedeflemektedir.

Economic Crisis and Crisis in Economics
Öz: The latest global crisis generated a trauma in the discipline of economics. The main aim of this study is to analyze the crisis in economics in details. Both Neoclassical and Neo Keynesian economists are divided into two distinct camps on the state of the economics discipline; those demanding a radical reform and those opposing any alteration except for minor revisions. Besides these, economic astrology, aiming to forecast the date and the duration of the upcoming crisis and getting stronger under the impact of the crisis, has been attracting a growing interest. The debate between the reformists and anti-reformists emerged over four dimensions. In the first dimension, the future of capitalism had been discussed, nevertheless this discussion did not last long. In the second dimension, the possibility of a hegemonic transformation among the different schools of economics discipline has been evaluated. The third one concerns the methodology and tools of economics. The last one deals with the necessity of an alteration in economics teaching. This study also aims to analyze the debate in these four dimensions.
