The aim of the present study was to explore the impact of relational and individuational self-orientations on leadership need and psychological well-being. The sample consisted of 122 respondents working for a private retail company. Accordingly, Balanced Integrated and Differantiation Scale, Leadership Need Scale and Psychological Well-Being Scale were administrated. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The findings pointed out that both relational and individuational self-orientations predicted psychological well-being. However, individuational self-orientation was found to be negatively correlated with task-oriented leadership need
