Hemşirelerin Kanıta Dayalı Uygulamaya İlişkin Görüşler

Öz:
Amaç: Bu çalışma iki kamu hastanesinde çalışan bir grup hemşirenin kanıta dayalı uygulamaya (KDU) ilişkin görüşleri, uygulama engelleri ve önerilerini belirlemek amacı ile tanımlayıcı olarak yapıldı.Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini bir üniversite ve bir devlet hastanesi olmak üzere iki kamu hastanesinde çalışan 371 hemşire oluşturdu. Araştırmada araştırmacılar tarafından literatür taranarak iki bölümden oluşturulan anket formu kullanıldı. Anket formunun birinci bölümünde; hemşirelerin çalıştığı kurum, yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim düzeyi, çalışma yılı gibi demografik bilgileri içeren 6 soru, ikinci bölümde; hemşirelerin KDU ile ilişkili görüşleri, KDU engelleyen faktörler ve KDU yönelik önerilerini belirlemeye yönelik 18 olmak üzere toplam 24 soruya yer verildi. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde sayı ve yüzdelik kullanıldı.Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 30.3±5.6, %90.6'sı kadın, %60.6'sı lisans mezunu, %94.1'inin klinik hemşiresi olarak çalıştığı ve ortalama çalışma süresi ortalamalarının 8.8 yıl olduğu belirlendi. Hemşirelerin KDU görüşleri kapsamında %96.5'inin hemşirelik bakımının kanıta dayalı olması gerektiğini, %49.1'inin KDU "bakımın araştırmalardan elde edilmiş bir temele dayandırılması" şeklinde tanımladığı, %75.5'inin hasta bakımını eğitim sırasında aldıkları bilgiye göre uyguladıkları, %97'sinin KDU'nın bakım kalitesini artırdığını ifade ettikleri saptandı. Çalışmada hemşirelerin KDU engeli olarak %85.7'sinin eleman, zaman, fizik ortam ve malzeme yetersizliğini ifade ettiği ve %37.5'inin hemşirelere KDU ile ilişkili hizmet içi eğitim verilmesi önerisinde bulunduğu belirlendi.Sonuç: Bu çalışma sonucuna göre hemşirelerin KDU'ya olumlu bakmakla birlikte hasta bakımında araştırma sonuçlarını kullanma oranının çok düşük olması KDU'nın farkında olmadıklarını ancak hizmet içi eğitim verilerek bilgi ve farkındalıkların arttırılması, olanaklar ve kurum desteği sağlanması durumunda kanıt temelli çalışabilecekleri söylenebilir.

Opinions of Nurses in Relation to Evidence-Based Practice

Öz:
Aim: This study was carried out as descriptive to determine opinions, practice barriers and recommendations of group ofnurses working in two public nurses in relation to evidenced-based practice.Method: The sample ofthe study included 71 nurses working in two public hospitals including an university hospital andPublic Hospital. The questionnaire form including two parts prepared according to literature by researchers was used in study.The questionnaire included total of 24 questions containing questionsfor demographic informations such as work institution,age, gender, level of education, working time ofthe nurses in the first part ofthe questionnaire and questionsfor theopinions, barriers and recommendations of nurses in relation to evidenced--based practice. The number and percentage wasused in the evaluation ofthe data.Results: It was determined that average ofage ofnurses was 30. 3i5. 6, 90. 600 were women, 60. 6% had bachelor degree, 94.1 hasbeen working as clinical nurse, average working time was 8.8 years. In the context ofopinions ofnurses evidence-basedpractice,it was established that, 96.5% ofnurses stated nursing care should be evidence-based, 49.1 of nurses described evidence-basedpractice as "care have been based basis obtainedfrom researchs, 75.5% applied patient care according to the information theyreceived during training, 97% stated evidence--basedpractice enhanced the quality ofcare. In the study, it was identified that 85% ofnurses stated lack ofstaff, time, physical environment and material were evidence-basedpractice barriers and 7.5 recommendedthat in-service training about evidence--based practice should be given.Conclusion: In this study, it was determined that nurses 'levels ofknowledge and practice of evidence--based were insufficient.It was concluded that in-service training for nurses in relation to evidence-based practice should be given and institutional support should be provided.
