Orta Derece ve Geç Prematüre Bebekler ve Sorunları

Öz:

Orta derece (32-34 hafta) ve geç prematüre (34-37 hafta) bebek doğumlarında son yıllarda artış gözlenmektedir. Bu durum hem yenidoğan hekimleri hem de kadın doğum hekimleri için doğumu önleyebilme ve sonrasında uygun yaklaşımlar açısından önem kazanmaktadır. Bu derleme ile orta ve geç prematüre bebek tanımı, yenidoğan dönemi ve erken çocukluk dönemindeki sorunları, bakım ve takip prensiplerini ve bu doğumların medikal olmayan nedenlerinin azaltılması gerektiğini vurgulamak istedik.

Moderately and Late Preterm Babies and Their Morbidities

Öz:

It is clear that moderate (32-34 weeks) and late (34-37 weeks) preterm births are increasing in number in the recent years. This condition gains importance for neonatalogists, gynecologists, and obstetricians in order to prevent birth, and appropriate postnatal approaches. With this review we wanted to emphasize the need for defining moderate, and moderate/late preterm infants, identification of their problems during neonatal period, and childhood, care, and follow-up principles, and decreasing non-medical causes of premature births.
