Dünyada Beden Eğitimi Öğretmeni Yetiştirme

Öz:

Makalenin amacı, beden eğitimi öğretmenliğinin dünyadaki gelişimi ve bugünkü durumunu incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, okullardaki beden eğitimi derslerinin hedefleri, etkinlikler, beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinde bulunması gereken nitelikler ve değişik ülkelerdeki beden eğitimi öğretmeni yetiştirme programları incelenmiştir. Yapılan incelemelere göre, yakın zamana kadar okullarda yapılan beden eğitimi ve spor etkinlikleri salt bedenin eğitimi olarak algılanmış, bilişsel ve duyuşsal gelişim ihmal edilmiştir. Oysa beden eğitimi ve spor, insanın salt bedenini eğitmek için değil, insanın bütünsel gelişimi için gerekli bir araç ve eylemdir. Beden eğitimi öğretmenin bireyin bu bütünsel gelişimine katkıda bulunabilmesi için devinişsel beceriler, pedagoji, bilimsel yöntem, fen-sağlık-hareket bilimleri ve toplum-insan bilimleri konusunda bilgi, beceri ve tutuma sahip olması gerekir. Süreç içerisinde, bu alanlara nitelikleri kazandırıcı öğretim programlarına katılıp başarı ile bitiren bireyler adı geçen alanlara ilişkin nitelikleri kazanıp beden eğitimi öğretmeni olacaklar ve okullarda öğretmenlik yapacaklardır.

Physical Education Teacher Training in the World

Öz:

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the advancement of the physical education teacher training in the world and its current position. in [ine with this purpose, the objectives of the physical education lessons at schoolş, acüvities, qualities required to be possessed by the physical educaion teacher and physical education teacher training programs of various countries have been analyzed. According to the analysis to have been carried oııt, physical education and sports activities done at schoolş ııp to the recent days have been regarded as solely physical education whereas the cognitive and affective development have been neglected. However, physical education and sports is an instrument and action requiredfor not only the physical development but also the total development of the human being. Physical educaion teacher should be donated with motion skills, pedagogics, scientifıc method; and knowledge, skills and attitude in terms of science-health-motion sciences and social and hunıanitarian sciences in öder to contribute to the total development of the individual. in time, the individuals to have taken part in the training programs for acquiring qualities and to have successfully completed them will acquire the above mentioned qualities and become physical education teacher and serve as physical education teacher at schools.
