Kariyer Psikolojik Danışmanlığına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeğinin Türkçe Formu: Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Öz:

Bu çalışmanın amacı Rochlen, Mohr ve Hargrove (1999) tarafından geliştirilen Kariyer Psikolojik Danışmanlığına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği'nin (KPDYTÖ) Türkçe formunun geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarını yapmaktır. Çalışma kapsamında lisans öğrencilerinden oluşan birbirinden bağımsız iki farklı çalışma grubundan (N = 575, N = 466) veri toplanmıştır. Katılımcılara kişisel bilgi formu ile birlikte Kariyer Psikolojik Danışmanlığına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği, Psikolojik Yardım Almaya Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği-R (Türküm, 2001) ve Psikolojik Yardım Alma Nedeniyle Kendini Damgalama Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. İlk çalışma grubu ile KPDYTÖ'nün iki faktörlü modeli (değer ve damgalanma) doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) ile sınanmış ve uyum iyiliği indekslerinin kabul edilebilir düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. İkinci çalışma grubu ile ölçeğe ilişkin iki faktörlü model tekrar sınanmış ve uyum iyiliği indekslerinin iyi düzeyde olduğu ve iki faktörlü yapının doğrulandığı görülmüştür. Ölçeğin ölçüt bağıntılı geçerliğinin incelenmesi amacıyla Psikolojik Yardım Almaya Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği-R ve Psikolojik Yardım Alma Nedeniyle Kendini Damgalama Ölçeği ile aralarındaki ilişkiye bakılmıştır. Alt ölçekler için iç tutarlık katsayısı ve test-tekrar test güvenirlik katsayısı hesaplanmış ve elde edilen katsayıların original çalışma bulgularıyla benzer olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, çalışma bulgularının KPDYTÖ'nin Türkçe formunun geçerli ve güvenirilir bir ölçek olduğunu destekler niteliktedir

Öz:

The purpose of the present study is to conduct validity and reliability studies of the Turkish Form of the Attittudes toward Career Counseling Scale developed by Rochlen, Mohr, and Hargrove (1999). In the scope of the study, data were collected from two separate groups of undergraduate students. In order to collect data, the Turkish form of the Attitudes toward Career Counseling Scale, Attitudes Toward Seeking Psychological Help Scale-Revised, Self-Stigma of Seeking Help Scale, and a Demographic Information Form developed by the researcher were used. The two-factor model (value and stigma) of the scale was tested via confirmatory factor analysis with the first group of participants (N = 575) and goodness of fit indices was found to be acceptable. The twofactor model of the scale was tested again along with the second group of participants (N = 466), and fit indices were found to be good, thus, the two-factor model of the scale was confirmed. In order to investigate the criterion-related validity of the scale, the relationships among SelfStigma of Seeking Psychological Help Scale and Attitudes toward Seeking Professional Psychological Help Scale, and Attitudes toward Career Counseling Scale were examined. The internal consistency coefficients and test-retest reliability estimates were calculated for both value and stigma scales and it was seen that findings were consistent with original study. Consequently, findings of the study supported that the Turkish form of the ATCCS is a reliable and valid instrument
