EVLİLİK HOŞNUTSUZLUĞU ÖLÇEĞİNİN TÜRKÇEYE UYARLANMASI: GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Öz:
Araştırmanın amacı Evlilik Hoşnutsuzluğu Ölçeğini Türkçeye uyarlamak, geçerlik ve güvenirliğini incelemektir. Araştırma 336 evli birey üzerinde yapılmıştır. Uyarlama çalışmasında ölçeğin geçerliğini belirlemek için yapı geçerliği ve uyum geçerliği yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Yapı geçerliği için açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi kullanılmıştır. Ölçeğin güvenirliğini belirlemek için Cronbach Alpha formülü kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca ölçeğin madde analizi için t-testi ve düzeltilmiş madde-toplam korelasyonu kullanılmıştır. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucu ölçeğin orijinal versiyonunda olduğu gibi 21 maddeli tek faktörlü bir yapı elde edilmiştir. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucu kikare değerinin (x²=435.42, N= 336, sd=189, p=0.00) anlamlı, diğer uyum indekslerinin de (RMSEA=.062, GFI=.96, AGFI=.95, CFI=.93, IFI=.93, NFI=.89, RFI=.87 ve SRMR=.02) kabul edilebilir düzeyde olduğu bulunmuştur. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları incelendiğinde ölçeğin Türkçe formunun ölçeğin orijinal faktör yapısına uygun kabul edilebilir uyum indeksleri verdiği görülmektedir. Ölçeğin güvenirliğini belirlemek için yapılan analiz sonucu iç tutarlılık katsayısı .89 bulunmuştur. Bu bağlamda ölçeğin iç tutarlılık güvenirlik katsayısının yeterli düzeyde olduğu düşünülebilir. Madde analizi için yapılan t-testi (sd= 178) sonuçlarının 2,88 (p<.001) ile 7.31 (p<.001) arasında sıralandığı görülmüştür. Düzeltilmiş madde-toplam korelasyonlarının ise 0.20 ile 0.36 arasında sıralandığı görülmüştür. Madde analizi için incelenen t-testi ve Düzeltilmiş madde-toplam korelasyonu sonuçlarının anlamlı olduğu söylenebilir (p<.001). Ayrıca, madde analizi sonucu elde edilen bulgular ölçeğin maddelerinin ayırt edici özelliğe sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar genel olarak değerlendirildiğinde Evlilik Hoşnutsuzluğu Ölçeğinin Türkçe versiyonunun geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılabilir.

ADAPTATION OF MARITAL DISAFFECTION SCALE TO TURKISH: STUDY OF VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY

Öz:
The aim of this research is to examine validity and reliability ofTurkish version of the Marital Disaffection Scale. The survey wasapplied on 336 married individuals. In scale adaptation study, structurevalidity was used for examine the validity of the scale. For structurevalidity, explanatory and confirmatory factor analyses were used.Cronbach’s Alpha formula was used for determine the reliability of thescale. Furthermore, t-test and corrected item-total correlation were usedfor item analysis. The result of exploratory factor analysis demonstratedthat twenty-one items loaded on single-factors and that the factorstructure was harmonized with the factor structure of the original scale.Confirmatory factor analysis, chi-square (x²=435.42, N= 336, df=189,p=0.00) significantly, and indices of fit RMSEA=.062, GFI=.96,AGFI=.95, CFI=.93, IFI=.93, NFI=.89, RFI=.87, and SRMR=.02 werefound. Internal consistency coefficient for the scale was .89. T-testresults were significant, which results are related to the difference oflower 27% and upper 27% groups, that established in accordance to thetotal points of test. In the result of the item analysis, corrected itemtotalcorrelations were ranged from a low of 0.20 to a high of 0.36; and t–test values were ranged from a low of 2,88 (p<.001) to a high of 7.31(p<.001). Corrected item-total correlations and t –test values werestatistically at the p< 0.01 level. These findings show that the Turkishversion of the Marital Disaffection Scale is a valid and reliableinstrument.
