OKULA DEVAM EDEN 5-6 YAŞ GRUBU ÇOCUKLARIN ANNELERİNİN BAĞLANMA BİÇİMLERİ, KİŞİLİK ÖZELLİKLERİ VE ÇOCUKLARIN BAĞLANMA BİÇİMLERİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Öz:

Bu araştırmada, okula devam eden 5-6 yaş grubu çocukların annelerinin bağlanma biçimleri ile annelerinkişilik özellikleri ve çocukların annelerine bağlanma biçimleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesiamaçlanmıştır. İlişkisel tarama modeline uygun olarak tasarlanan araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İstanbul iliAvrupa yakasında araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 160 anne ve onların çocukları (84 kız, 76 erkek; 74 beşyaş, 86 altı yaş) oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada demografik bilgiler için "Kişisel Bilgi Formu", annelerin kişiliközelliklerini ölçmek için "16 Kişilik Envanteri (16 PF)", annelerin bağlanma biçimlerini ölçmek için Yakınİlişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri (YİYE), çocukların bağlanma biçimlerini ölçmek için "Oyuncak ÖyküTamamlama Testi (OÖTT)" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda; annelerin bağlanma biçimleri ilekişilik özellikleri arasında sadece endişe düzeyi alt boyutunda bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Buna karşınannelerin kişilik özelliklerinden dışadönüklük-içedönüklük, endişeli-rahat, gerçeklik-duyarlı, kabullenenbağımsız,serbest-kontrollü değişkenleri ile çocukların bağlanma biçimleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişkibulunmuştur. Annelerin bağlanma biçimleri ile çocukların bağlanma biçimleri arasında ise anlamlı bir ilişkibulunamamıştır.

AN INVESTIGATION ON THE MOTHERS OF 5-6 YEAR OLD SCHOOL ENROLLED CHILDREN REGARDING THEIR ATTACHMENT STYLES, PERSONALITY TRAITS AND THE CHILDREN'S ATTACHMENT STYLES

Öz:

In this study, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between the attachment styles of the mothers of 5- 6-year-old children who continue school, the personality traits of mothers and the children’s styles of attachment to their mothers. The sample of the study, which was designed in accordance with the relational screening model, consisted of 160 mothers and their children (84 girls, 76 boys, 74 5-year-olds, 86 6-yearolds) who agreed to participate in the research from the European side of Istanbul, Turkey. Several instruments were used in the study including the “Personal Information Form” for demographic information, “16 Personality Factors” (16 PF) to measure the personality traits of the mothers, “Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory” (ECR) to measure the attachment styles of the mothers, and “Doll Family Story Completion Test-TR” (DFSCT-TR) to measure the attachment styles of the children. As a result of the research, a significant relationship between the attachment styles and personality traits of the mothers was found only in the anxiety sub-dimension. Despite that, there was a significant relationship between extroversion-introversion, anxious-comfortable, reality-comfortable, accepting-independent and freecontrolled personality traits of mothers and attachment styles of children. There was no significant relationship between the attachment styles of the mothers and the attachment styles of the children.
