Uyku Sağlığının Korunmasında Uyku Hijyenin Rolü ve Stratejileri

Öz:
Uyku sağlığın önemli bir bileşeni ve temel fizyolojik bir süreçtir. Uyku hava, su ve yiyecek gibi temel fizyolojik bir gereksinimdir. Uyku metabolik olayların düzenlenmesinde, emosyonel düzenlemelerde, fiziksel performansta, hafıza ve öğrenmede önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Uyku sağlığını sürdürmede ise uyku hijyeni önemlidir. Yeterli bir uyku hijyeni uyku bozuklukları sıklığında azalma, uyku memnuniyeti ve kalitesindeki artma ile birleşmektedir. Uyku hijyeni uyku kalitesini artıran ilke ve uygulamalar olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bu ilke ve uygulamalar davranışsal ve çevresel faktörlerin düzenlenmesini, iyileştirilmesini kapsamaktadır. Bu makalede bazı uyku bozuklukları tedavisinde kullanılan uyku hijyeni stratejileri sunulmuştur.

Role and Strategies of Sleep Hygiene in Promoting Sleep Health

Öz:
Sleep is a basic physiological process and an important component of health. Sleep is physiological need very basic such as air, water, food. Sleep is play an important role in the regulation of metabolic, em tion and memory processing, physical performance, learning. Sleep hygiene is important in maintaiing sleep health. The adequate sleep hygiene is associated with increasing sleep satisfaction and sleep quality, reducing in frequency of sleep disturbances. Sleep hygiene is defined as principles and practices that increase sleep quality. These principles and practices include the regulation and improvement of behavioral and environmental factors. This article presents content of sleep hygiene strategies that can be used in the treatment of some sleep disturbances.
