TY - JOUR TI - The Relationship Between School Administrators' Conflict Management Styles and Organizational Health AB - It is natural to appear conflict occasions in the place where individualinterests and needs differ from schools(educational organizations). Thatconflict processes manage through organizational profits is quite importantfor continuing organizational life in a healthy way. In this way, the researchhas been implemented among 349 primary, secondary and high schoolteachers in Uşak in view of the relationship between conflict managementstrategies which are used by school managers in conflicts apeearing inschools and organizational health in schools. According to research results,teachers generally think that the schools are highly healthy organizations. Ina relationship with conflict management strategies, teachers think thatschool managers have highly used obliging and compromising strategies;moderately avoiding and integrating strategies; seldom dominating styles.Besides according to the results whether there is a relationship betweenconflict management strategies and organizational health or not, in order tomanage conflicts, the relationship between integrating and compromisingstyles school managers have used and organizational health are highlypositive, relationship between obliging styles and organizational health aremedium level, the relationship between dominating styles and organizationalhealth negatively low. It is seen there is no significant relationship betweenavoiding styles and organizational health. According to research results,among conflict management styles, integrating, obliging and compromisingdimensions have significantly predicted in organizarional health.
