Bilgisayar Kaygısı: Öğretmen Adayları Üzerinde Çok Yönlü Bir İnceleme

Öz:
Bu çalışmada, öğretmen adaylarının bilgisayara yönelik kaygı durumları çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırma, Anadolu Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde 1999-2000 öğretim yılında tüm bölüm ve sınıflarda okuyan öğrencilerden oluşan örneklerin üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya toplam 1091(%69 kız, % 31 erkek) öğrenci katılmıştır. Bilgisayar kaygısı Bilgisayar Kaygısı Ölçeği (BKÖ) ile demografik özellikler, algılanan karakter özellikleri ve bilgisayar tecrübesine ilişkin bilgiler Kişisel Bilgi Formu ile belirlenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde t testi, tek yönlü varyans (ANOVA) analizi ve çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır, istatistiksel analizlerinde anlamlılık düzeyi .05 olarak belirlenmiştir, bunun üzerinde olanlar ayrıca belirtilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının BKÖ puanlarının ortalaması 48,87, ranj (min=28, max=107) ise 65 olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda, öğretmen adaylarının bilgisayar kaygıları ile demografik özellikleri, algılanan karakter özellikleri ve bilgisayar tecrübe durumları arasında anlamlı farklılıklar elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada bilgisayar kaygısını yordayan değişkenleri tespit etmek için yapılan regresyon analizi sonucunda ise en önemli yordayıcı değişken olarak bilgisayarda kendini yeterli görme algısı bulunmuştur.
