There is a growing recognition that child sexual abuse is a critical public health problem. Child sexual abusement is not a medical diagnosis and is not necessarily a term synonymouswith pedophilia. Although pedophilia is generally regarded as a phenomenon in males, victim surveys have shown that female perpetrators are sometimes indicated. Currently, there is no valid estimate of pedophilia in women and the question remains whether pedophilia even exists in women.In the literature there are very few cases and studies about female sexual offenders and pedophilicdisorder. Herein, the case which a female patient who abused her son and other women is presented under the light of literature.
