Dijital Din Araştırmalarında Konu ve Yaklaşımlar

Öz:
İnternet ve mobil iletişim teknolojilerinin sosyal yaşama ayrılmaz bir şekildeentegre olması, dinin dijital uzama daha çok boyutlu olarak genişlemesinisağlamıştır. Bu noktada, dinin/dinlerin dijital medya ile etkileşimini ve buetkileşim bağlamında değişen din algısı ile pratikleri konu edinen ve “dijitaldin araştırmaları” olarak nitelendirilen yeni bir disiplinlerarası araştırmasahası ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu makale de dijital din araştırmalarının gelişimsürecinde ele alınan paradigma değişimleri, başlıca konular, kullanılanmetodolojik yaklaşım ve teknikler incelenmiştir. Analizler neticesinde,dünyada olgunlaşma, Türkiye’de ise filizlenme aşamasında olan dijital dinaraştırmalarındaki sınırlılıklar ve eksiklikler tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bunoktada gelecekte yapılacak ardıl araştırmalara yönelik önerilerdebulunulmaya çalışılmıştır.

Issues and Approaches in Digital Religion Studies

Öz:
The fact that internet and mobile communication technologies are inextricably intertwined with social life has enabled religion to expand more in digital space. At this point, a new field of interdisciplinary research has emerged, which deals with the interaction of religion/religions with digital media, and the changing perception of religion and practices in the context of this interaction called “digital religion researches”. In this article, paradigm changes, main topics, methodological approaches and techniques used in the development process of digital religion researches are examined. As a result of the analysis, limitations and deficiencies in the research field of digital religion which is a mature issue in the world, but a red-hot issue in Turkey has tried to be determined.
