İKİNCİ EL GİYİM SİTELERİNDE ALGILANAN RİSKLERİN SATIN ALMA NİYETİ ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Öz:
Türkiye’de yetersiz denetim ve düzenleme nedeniyle tüketicilerin temel haklar açısından savunmasız olduğuikinci el giyim pazarında tüketiciler, yüksek riskler algılayabilmektedir. Pazar koşullarının iyileştirilerek pazarpotansiyelinin artırılabilmesi için tüketicilerin algıladıkları risk türlerinin saptanması önemlidir. Bu bağlamdamevcut çalışmanın amacı, tüketicilerin ikinci el giyim sitelerinden alışverişlerine ilişkin risk algılarının satınalma niyeti üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada finansal, sosyal, fiziksel, psikolojik risk, performansve zaman riski ile satın alma niyeti arasında anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur. Zaman riski dışındaki riskler artarkensatın alma niyetinin düştüğü görülmekle birlikte, zaman riski artarken satın alma niyetinin arttığı bulunmuştur.Bunun yanı sıra ikinci el giyim sitelerinden alışveriş yapmayanların bütün risk çeşitlerinde alışveriş yapanlaragöre daha yüksek risk algıladıkları ortaya konulmuştur. Alışveriş yapmayanların algıladıkları en yüksek riskfiziksel risk iken, alışveriş yapanların algıladıkları en yüksek risk performans riskidir. Demografik özellikleregöre algılanan risk ve satın alma niyeti farklılıkları da çalışma kapsamında incelenmiştir.

THE EFFECT OF PERCEIVED RISK ON PURCHASE INTENTIONS IN SECOND-HAND CLOTHING SHOPPING

Öz:
Due to the insufficient controls and regulations in the online second-hand clothing market of Turkey, being vulnerable in terms of their basic consumer rights, consumers can perceive high risks. To improve market conditions and, thus, increase market potential, identifying the types of risks perceived by consumers is important. The present study aims to examine the relationship between consumers’ purchase intentions and risk perceptions that arise during purchase from second-hand clothing websites. The findings reveal that statistically significant relationships between intentions and financial, social, psychological, performance and time risk. An increase in all types of risks, but for time risk, lead to a decrease in purchase intentions. Consumers who did not buy anything from second-hand clothing web sites significantly perceive higher risks compared to consumer who bought previously. While consumers who did not buy anything before perceived more physical risk, those who bought previously perceive more performance risk. The findings also include analysis of differences between consumers with different demographic profile in terms of purchase intentions and risk perceptions.
