TY - JOUR TI - Determination of Antioxidant and Oxidant Potentials of Thymbra spicata Collected from Duhok-Iraq AB - In this study, antioxidant, oxidant and oxidative stress index of Thymbra spicata L. collected fromDuhok (Iraq) region were determined. The aerial parts of the plant were extracted with ethanol. RelAssay Diagnostics kits were used for detect TAS, TOS and OSI values. As a result of the studies, itwas determined that TAS value of plant extract was determined 8.399±0.102, TOS value was6.530±0.115 and OSI value was 0.078±0.001. As a result, it was determined that T. spicata has highantioxidant potential and in this context, can be used as a natural resource.
