Evcil Hayvana Bağlanma Ölçeği: Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Öz:
Bu çalışmanın amacı, bireylerin evcil hayvanlarına bağlanma yönelimlerini ölçmekamacıyla geliştirilen Evcil Hayvana Bağlanma Ölçeği’nin Türkçe uyarlamasının geçerlik vegüvenirlik çalışmasını gerçekleştirmektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, yaşları 19-62 arasındadeğişen en az bir evcil hayvanla beraber yaşayan 260 (234 kadın ve 26 erkek) bireyoluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda, katılımcılardan Kişisel Bilgi Formu, EvcilHayvana Bağlanma Ölçeği, Lexington Evcil Hayvana Bağlanma Ölçeği, CES-DepresyonÖlçeği, Durumluk-Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri, Penn Dinsel Obsesyonlar Envanteri, Yakınİlişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri-II ve Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeğini doldurmaları istenmiştir. Testtekrar test güvenirliği için çalışmanın ilk aşamasına katılan 57 kişiye tekrar ulaşılmıştır. VerilerSPSS ve AMOS programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcıfaktör analizi sonucunda, ölçeğin kaygı ve kaçınma olarak adlandırılan iki faktörlü yapıgösterdiği doğrulanmıştır. Geçerlik ve güvenirliği destekleyen diğer analizler, EHBÖ'nünbireylerin evcil hayvana bağlanma yönelimlerini ölçmede geçerli ve güvenilir bir araç olduğunudesteklemiştir.

Pet Attachment Quastionnaire: Validity and Reliability Study

Öz:
The aim of the current study is to test the validity and reliability of the Pet Attachment Questionnaire (PAQ), which assess attachment orientation toward pet. The sample of the study consisted of 260 pet owners (24 males and 234 females) aged between 19 and 62 years. In line with the study purpose, participants were asked to complete Demographic Form, Pet Attachment Questionnaire, Lexington Attachment to Pets Scale, CES-Depression Scale, StateTrait Anxiety Inventory, Penn Inventory of Scrupulosity, Experiences in Close RelationshipsRevised, Satisfaction with Life Scale. For the test-retest reliability analysis, 57 of the participants were reached again. Data were analyzed via SPSS and AMOS programs. As a result of the explanatory and confirmatory factor analysis, the two-factor structure of the PAQ, defined as anxiety and avoidance was supported. Further statistical analyses supported that PAQ was a valid and reliable measurement tool in the assessment of the attachment orientation towards pet.
