Titanyum Dioksit Nanopartiküllerinin Cyprinus carpio’da Bazı Serum Parametreleri ile Serum Enzim Aktiviteleri Üzerine Akut Toksisitesi

Öz:
Titanyum dioksit nanopartikülleri (TiO2 NP) elektronik malzemeler, paketleme, yiyecekendüstrisi ve kozmetik ürünler başta olmak üzere yaygın kullanıma sahip nanopartiküllerdir. Buyaygın kullanım sonucu doğaya daha yüksek düzeylerde salınmaları, özellikle su organizmalarıiçin tehlike oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada TiO2 NP’nin 25 ve 50 mg/L derişimlerinin 24, 48 ve96 saatlik sürelerle etkisinde C. carpio’da serum glikoz, total protein ve kolesterol düzeyleri ileserum AST, ALT ve ALP enzim aktivitelerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Belirlenen süre vederişimlerde TiO2 NP etkisinde balıklarda mortalite gözlenmemiştir. TiO2 NP etkisinde serumglikoz düzeyi her iki derişimde de 48 ve 96 saatlik etki süresinde kontrole oranla önemli düzeydeartış gösterirken, serum total protein ve kolesterol düzeyinde tüm süre ve derişimlerde kontroleoranla herhangi bir değişiklik gözlenmemiştir. Serum AST, ALT ve ALP enzim aktivitesi ise heriki derişimde de 96 saatlik etki süresinde kontrole oranla önemli düzeyde artış göstermiştir.

Öz:
Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2 NPs) are widely used in industries for electronics, packaging, food, and cosmetics. Due to their extensive usage of these NPs pose a great threat to the aquatic environments. Effects of 25 and 50 mg/L waterborne TiO2 NPs on serum glucose, total protein and cholesterol levels and serum AST, ALT and ALP activities of C. carpio were determined after 24, 48 and 96 hours of exposure. No mortality was observed during the experiments. Serum glucose level increased at 48 and 96 hours while serum total protein and cholesterol levels unchanged compared with control at the end of the 96 hours. There was also an increased in serum AST, ALT and ALP activities compared with control at 96 hours of exposure to TiO2 NPs.
