TI  - A check-list of the genus Pedostrangalia Sokolov, 1896 (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) from Turkey with a new record
AB  - Data is presented on the occurrence of 10 species of the genus Pedostrangalia Sokolov, 1896 in Turkey. The faunistic data in the present paper on almost all species add to the knowledge of their distribution in Turkey. The occurrence in Turkey of Pedostrangalia imberbis (Menetries, 1832), Pedostrangalia revestita (Linnaeus, 1767), Pedostrangalia tokatensis Sama, 1996, Pedostrangalia emmipoda (Mulsant, 1863), Pedostrangalia kurda Sama, 1996, Pedostrangalia verticalis (Germar, 1822), Pedostrangalia adeliae (Reitter, 1885), Pedostrangalia verticenigra (Pic, 1892) (=Pedostrangalia erinnys Daniel, 1904), Pedostrangaliapubescens (Fabricius, 1787), and Pedostrangalia riccardoi Holzschuh, 1984 are determined in this work. Thus, four species are added to known species from Turkey. Pedostrangalia riccardoi Holzschuh, 1984 is reported for the first time in the Turkish fauna. Pedostrangalia tokatensis Sama, 1996 and Pedostrangalia verticenigra (Pic, 1892) are endemic to Turkey. Also, a short description of new record, Pedostrangalia riccardoi Holzschuh, 1984, is given in the present paper.
